Canterfield Risk Management is on a mission to support insurance intermediaries develop effective control environments.

I believe that insurance intermediaries of all sizes and complexities benefit from effective risk and control advice and assurance. I believe that control and assurance should work with, not against the business and should demonstrate its importance and value.

I have worked in the insurance industry for the past decade, providing assurance and advisory services to large and medium-sized brokers and Managing General Agents (MGAs). Through this time I have been privileged to work with some inspiring firms and individuals. I’ve consistently observed that the firms that invest in effective risk and control:

Through working with all scales of companies I have developed an approach to providing independent advice and assurance that allows firms to build on the aspects of their business that work well, and provide practical and pragmatic recommendations to enhance business operations, embed effective control, and mitigate risk.
